Devyn Therese is an award-winning pianist based in South Louisiana. Starting music lessons at age four, Devyn has been participating in vocal and piano festivals for 8+ years. She has been the recipient of the Louisiana Music Teachers Association award for Outstanding Students several times, and has won first place in district competitions for many consecutive years. She has also placed at the state level in the Torgrimson/Swanzy competition for Outstanding Students.

Over the years, Devyn has filled many positions as a pianist, organist, and vocalist. Sacred Music credits have included Blessed Sacrament Chapel (Gibson, LA), St. Anne Catholic Church (Napoleonville, LA), St. Anthony of Padua (Houma, LA), St. Elizabeth and St. Jules Churches (Paintcourtville, LA), St. Hilary of Poitiers (Raceland, LA), and First United Methodist Church (Houma, LA). Devyn is also the resident organist for the pontifical choir of the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese, with Masses being played at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral (Houma, LA). In addition to religious music, Devyn has experience accompanying state level choirs for festivals and performances.

Currently an undergraduate student studying piano performance, Devyn is an active member of the Nicholls chamber choir and jazz ensemble. She devotes a lot of her time to writing and arranging music for personal and professional purposes. She is studying to improve technical skills in both classical and jazz music.
